Swedish massage aids relaxation, soothes away stress and sleep problems, helps loosen tense and aching muscles, promotes healing and invigorates muscular tone. Swedish massage can be performed on small areas eg. Head and shoulders, back, legs or as a full body massage. It can be a relaxing massage or a firm and toning massage, depending on client’s requirements. Stretching techniques and muscle manipulation are included in a massage for fatigued muscles or to reduce stress.
Rebecca loves her work as a massage therapist and has a diploma certificate in body massage from the International School of Beauty Therapy in Santa Venera, where she studied Swedish Body Massage, a technique inspired by a combination of Chinese and European massage systems. Developed in the 20th century, Swedish massage techniques are constantly being refined and perfected to suit the needs of today’s varied lifestyles.
