Finding one’s purpose in the bleakness of life and all the destruction around us.
During this workshop, we will be speaking about past experiences that acted as a catalyst for change within our lives – and ultimately how we discovered our current purpose (“current” because we’re firm believers that this also changes) through that same destruction – hence, creation from destruction. Traumatic experiences don’t just have to be traumatic only – they can be enriching, life-lessons, that instigate the great lessons of acceptance, forgiveness, and self-love.
Two main themes will be discussed: creation from destruction on a personal level – the operation, the toxic relationship, and creation from destruction on a much wider level – the connection of the personal with the national – finding my purpose through the destruction that we are witnessing on a daily basis within our country – becoming a journalist, a listener, and a voice for those that do not have one.
Through different experiences that I went through, from heroin addiction to healing, to finally coming into that place in which I feel I belong, I will be shedding some light on:
Human pain and suffering
