by The JAM Project (Micaela Bogen & Amber Le Roux)
Sunday – 12.30 – 14.30hrs
A workshop centered around exploring race and racism and bringing awareness to our very own internalised racism. We’ll take a deep dive into forms of unconscious bias and stereotyping, where it comes from and how it shows up in our day to day lives, understanding the way that this unacknowledged discrimination impacts society and leads to isolation, fear and violence and exploring effective strategies to rewire our thought patterns and create an inclusive community that celebrates diversity.
The JAM Project: An arts and culture community space focused on integration through creativity and education.
