Terra Livre

The Portuguese group mixes simplicity with psychedelia, mestizo with mysticism, ecology and activism, singing consciousness and diversity in one tone.

They met 10 years ago in the magical mountains of Sintra, where they founded “Terra Livre”, a communal land that works as an experimental and co-creation lab which allowed them to practice what they preach through sustainable agriculture, natural building and minimizing their ecological footprint.

”We are part of a movement that is deeper and broader than we know, or even imagine. This movement is grass-roots, it is spread all over the globe and has no leaders. It is music that tries to communicate Earth’s needs: “Earth Music”.“

A Live concert of Terra Livre is known throughout Portugal to set the audience on fire with ravishing inspiration, and the release of “Seeds, Roots Flowers and Fruits” – the debut album – (early 2019, featuring Manu Chao among other distinguished guest artist collaborations) launched the group to international stages, although, due to the breakout of covid-19 pandemic, they were forced to cancel the 13 dates of the Europe tour 2020, passing through Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, France, and Spain.
