I have a Festival Ticket. At what time can I go in and at what time does the festival finishes? (Gates open and close)

– On Thursday gates open at 6pm and close at 1am.
– On Friday gates open 5pm and close at 1am.
– On Saturday and Sunday gates open at 2pm and close at 1am.

If you have camping tickets the opening times differ – please check the camping section for more information.

I would like to bring my kids with me. Do they need to pay for the festival ticket?

Kids under the age of 12 go in for free. Kids over the age of 12 years will need a paid festival ticket to go in.
All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Will I be allowed to enter the camping area with the festival ticket?

No, the camping area is a restricted zone for the campers.

Will I be allowed to use the showers with my festival ticket?

No. The showers are restricted to the sole use of the campers.

Will there be available parking on site?

Yes. National Park public parking area. This is not reserved parking and works on a first-come first-served basis.

Can I buy a one-day ticket for the festival?

Yes, one-day tickets can be purchased online from ticketline.com.mt once they go for sale.

Are pets allowed in the festival?

Only dogs are allowed (on leash) in the festival area. Please bring your own poop bags and kindly clean after your dog. Earth garden is a dog friendly festival.

What’s the alcohol drinking legal age in Malta?

17 years of age.

Will there be a lost and found department?

Yes, at the Merchandise stand.

Can I buy tickets just to listen to a particular band?

No, only one-day or festival passes are available.

Will there be First aid/Doctors on-site?

Yes, first aid stand 24hrs a day.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Yes, though prices may differ from those of pre-sold tickets. If you buy tickets in advance you will avoid having to queue to purchase the ticket.

Will wi-fi access be provided.

No, we suggest you speak to each other and make new friends.

Will there be security personnel?

Yes, security personnel will be roaming around the Festival grounds 24/7. Nonetheless, you are responsible for your personal belongings at all times.

Are there VIP tickets?

No.

Is there going to be a phone recharging service on site?

Yes, in the merchandise stand and camping area at a minimal fee.

Is re-entry to the festival possible?

Yes, as long as you wear your festival ticket wristband.

Is the festival held rain or shine?

Yes, but the organizers still reserve the right to cancel the event especially if weather conditions would create a dangerous environment for the festival goers.

Will I be able to access all the stages/areas with my festival ticket?

Yes, your Festival ticket will give you access to all areas except campsites and backstage.

From which gate do I enter the festival?

Please refer to your ticket as not all tickets have the same entrance. Your entrance is printed on your ticket.

I have bought a festival ticket. Will I need any form of identification to get in?

It is always best to have your ID card with you, since tickets are not transferable.

Do the Festival grounds have suitable access for persons with disability?

Yes, but one needs to be careful as certain areas, although accessible do not have tiled pathways.

Will there be vegetarian and vegan food options?

Yes, at least 2 food stands selling both vegetarian and vegan food.

What is the festival’s drug policy?

The festival operates a zero-tolerance policy to drugs. The laws of Malta are as relevant within the festival fields as anywhere else.

Can I bring my bicycle into the festival?

No, but if you wish to come the festival with your bicycle you can lock it with a chain outside the festival.

I bought a festival ticket but I cannot make it. Can I get a refund?

No, tickets are not refundable nor transferrable.

Will there be a children’s area?

Yes, there will a fun area for kids. A minimal charge might apply for some of the kids’ activities. This is a fun area not a supervised nanny service.

Will there be an ATM on site?

No, the closest ATMs are in Rabat, Attard and Mosta.

I have lost my ticket. What can I do?

If you bought your ticket from an outlet unfortunately we cannot help you replace or reprint your ticket.

Is there a place I can buy things I’ve forgotten?

Yes – Surplus and Adventure will have a stand selling camping and other camping related items.

Can I leave the site and come back in again?

Yes. As many times as you wish as long as you wear the wrist band.

Kids under the age of 12 go in for free when accompanied by an adult.
Kids over the age of 12 years will need to buy an entrance camping ticket.
An adult must accompany all children at all times.

Will I be allowed to enter the festival area with my camping ticket?

Yes, as long as you wear your wristband.

Will there be showers at the festival? What time do they open and close?

Yes, showers are restricted to campers only. Showers open from 08.00am till 06.00pm.

On Thursday and Monday the showers will be closed.

From which gate do I enter the festival?

Please refer to your ticket, as different tickets have different entrance gates. Your Entrance Gate is printed on your ticket.

I have bought a camping ticket. Will I need any form of identification to get in?

It is always best to have your ID card with you, since tickets are not transferable.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Yes, as long as these are consumed within the camping area. All the food that is brought in needs to be ready to be consumed unless you have a solar powered hot plate. Any form of fire is strictly prohibited (Including candles).

Will there be lockers available?

No.

Will garbage bags and recycling bins be provided or do I need to bring my own?

Recycling bins/banks will be provided but we encourage campers to bring their own garbage and recycling bags.

This is a green conscience festival; we urge our campers to recycle and keep a clean environment within the camping area.

Can I go in with my car?

No.

Can I bring my bicycle into the festival?

Am I allowed to bring a small stereo/p.a system in the campsite?

No. Playing audio devices in the campsite is strictly prohibited.

What facilities will be provided for campers?

Toilets, showers, mobile phones recharging stations, shaded areas, camping store, Camping Marshalls for set-up assistance, recycling banks.

Will wi-fi access be provided?

No, we suggest you speak to each other and make new friends.

What tent size can I bring?

The tent size is restricted and equivalent to the number of camping tickets purchased. i.e: 2 tickets = 2 men tent.

Is there going to be a phone recharging service on site?

Yes, in merchandise stand and camping area at a minimal fee.

What should I bring with me?

I have a 4-day pass. At what time can I arrive and by when will I need to leave the campsite?

Entrance to the campsites is as follows:

-Thursday from 3pm until midnight.
-Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 9am until midnight.

Campers need to leave the campsite by latest Monday at 11.00am or at any time before that.

Where do I buy camping tickets from? Can I buy them online?

Camping tickets will be available for purchase online from Monday 6th March 2017.

Will I be able to access all the areas with my camping ticket?

Yes. Camping tickets give you access to all Public areas. However since there are two camping sites, you can only access the chosen camp site as per your ticket

Will there be available parking on site?

Yes. National Park public parking area. This is not reserved parking and works on a first-come first-served basis.

Can I buy a one-day camping ticket?

No. Day passes are only available for general entry, not for camping.

Are campfires allowed?

No. Absolutely no fire – this includes small fires and candles!

Will toilet paper be provided or do I need to bring my own?

It is provided but sometimes it runs out quickly and is not replaced immediately so it would be safer if you bring your own.

Will there be drinking water points?

Yes, drinking tap water points will be distributed around the festival. The First aid stand also distributes drinking water free of charge.

Will there be First aid/Doctors on-site?

Yes, first aid stand 24hrs a day.

Can I buy camping tickets at the door?

Most probably not, as these are normally sold out months before the festival.

Can I bring my drum? Am I allowed to play?

Yes, the Why Not? Jamming area is a dedicated area for people who wish to jam. If you play in the campsite please be respectful towards others and try to avoid playing before 9.00am and after 1.00am. Also, please refrain from playing drums (or any other instrument) while other artists are performing in all the areas.

I need to book my travel. How can I get to the festival? From the airport?

Almost all major airlines as well as low cost airlines have flights to Malta. Please follow link for the full list of airlines. Click Here

Malta has only one national airport and it is in Luqa. The Fesitval is held at Ta’ Qali National Park.

Bus: The X3 bus departing from the airport has Ta’ Qali as one of its stops. Service starts at 6am until 7pm approximately every hour. For more info visit publictransport.com.mt

Taxi: A taxi from airport to the Festival grounds should cost around €20 per person.

Is there accommodation nearby?
