Held at the Ta’ Qali National Park on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th the festival has attracted diverse people from all over the island, confirming itself as the alternative, green music event for all the family.  Providing the public with varied food stands, colourful market stalls, outstanding exhibits, top quality entertainment and essential environmental education; the National Park was jam packed with environment enthusiasts, families looking for alternative weekend fun, sunshine chasers and music lovers.

Having taken this year’s festival to new heights, with added areas and wider music selection, this year’s music areas were packed out!  Varied and exciting live shows, including Tribali’s jamming session on Saturday at the newly introduced Art, Blues and World Music Area were deeply

embraced by those music lovers thirsty for upbeat, original and refreshing sounds.  Danceable beats charged the Electronic Sphere on Friday and Saturday nights, whilst a varied reggae selection lured the audience to dance all evening at the Juuls Reggae Sunday.

With outstanding performances from some of the biggest names in the local music scene, including Airport Impressions, Carrie Haber and Chasing Pandora, the sold-out Unplugged Music concert at the Greek Theatre was by far a highlight to this year’s festival.

The newly introduced camp site has also proven to be a successful initiative as it brought diverse people together, giving them the chance to sample sustainability in fun and friendly surroundings.

With all this and much more, we are already looking forward to the next edition of Earth Garden Festival in 2011!
